YEAR OF ZEN: SPRING: DAY 15
Q: Use one bowl and appreciate it.
A: A good and needed practice for when my guts are upset. When I feel this way I turn to Kitchari and Congee as bowls that get my guts back on track. When I sit and savor these foods, I notice the sweetness of the ginger and the salt of the broth. I notice the softness of the rice and the heat from whatever hot sauce I have put on top. This is always a calming and comforting way to start my day.
