Q: To learn you have to not know. Where are you easily a beginner and where is it more difficult?

A: Last year I started building a habit of practicing the piano on a daily basis. I have been successful in keeping this up and am still very much approaching it with a beginners mind. I took piano lessons as a kid and they failed to engage me. The only thing I took from it was the knowledge of where middle C falls on the keyboard, and the difference between a treble and bass clef. I have always dreamed of having some level of competency and skill around a musical instrument and for the first time in my life I feel like that competency is growing within me. There are plenty of other areas in life where I fail at approaching things with a beginners mind but I will leave this missive on a high note.
