Q: Don’t police your meditation. Reflect.

A: The call to check my internal cop is a good one. I also think it is a mindset that the world would benefit in adopting more of. Holding ourselves (and each other) to standards is absolutely a good thing. It is okay to police it within reason. The problem I see with a persistent cop mindset is that it leaves us perpetually assuming the worst in each other, which leads to cultivating the worst in ourselves. Trust and forgiveness are two of the noblest gifts we can extend to one another.
