Q: Ceremonies can change us. Has this ever happened to you?

A: Yes, every ceremony I have been part of has left me changed on the other side. I have walked away feeling connected to the deeper time and rhythm of human culture and cognizant of the transformational power of ritual. Meaningful ceremonies in my life have included marriage (my own and those of my close friends), graduations, and funerals. I will work to be more cognizant the next time I find myself in the midst of a ceremony.
