YEAR OF ZEN: AUTUMN: DAY 03
Olive Trees - Vincent Van Gogh
Q: Are there times when it is easier to fail than others?
A: Significant failure is something we all face and how we respond and learn from it helps set the table for what failure will look like the next time. I face this often at work where I push myself and my team to be open and willing to try new things. Innovation and process improvement inherently come with a risk of failure. But by creating an environment where failure isn’t an end in itself (but rather an opportunity to study learn and grow), it creates a space for small miracles to happen.
