Q: Have others ever surprised you by showing up when you needed them? Have you ever been called on to speak for the voiceless?

A: Moments like these are unexpected but so staggeringly beautiful when they happen. For me they are the rare moments that illuminate the deep truth of the interconnectedness of all things. They are also moments when the better angels of human nature reveal themselves and we can see the good in each other. And I say that moments like these are unexpected but they don’t necessarily have to be. Living life through a mindset of compassion and service leads to ample opportunities for these life sustaining experiences.
