Q: Have you ever found long periods of meditation helpful?
A: If the idea of meditation can be stretched to include a variety of similar, mindful activities then YES, I have absolutely found long periods of meditation beneficial! The obvious one for me is the times I go on a long walk, hike, or backpacking trip. The repetitive nature of walking and thinking is a meaningful form of meditation that does nothing but good for my perspective, attitude, and emotions. And it is really of the easiest things in the world to do!
