Q: Are you equally at ease being host or guest?

A: I have never been good at engaging in small talk and have appreciated when others have taken on being “the host” in a given situation (thus allowing me to be “the guest”). But there are times when there is a compelling need to be a good host. I think I do okay with this in close relationships, and starting there feels like a good place to focus attention and practice. I will continue to think on this.
