Q: Leave a small portion on your plate and reflect.

A: For me, today, there is a larger lesson here about obligation and how much we assume that we often times don’t need to. This happens a lot in my life, especially at work. It has led to moments where, in hindsight, I can see so many ways where any other action would have been preferable. Freeing myself from this, and seeing that I am not obligated to be everything, or do everything, is ultimately empowering. This is especially true when this mindset leads to true collaboration with colleagues.
