Q: Has the great Earth ever struck you a holy teaching (or sutra)?

A: The most important, meaningful, and deeply felt lessons in my life have come from moments when I had the wisdom to listen to the lessons offered by this incredible planet. I have learned them on hikes, on mountains, while wandering through forests, and staring at the ocean. Reconnecting with that is so core and vital, but in our rapid world it is so easy to lose track of. Sadly, most of us have a hard time even looking up at the night sky from the relative safety of Earth and reflecting on the stars…
