Q: When has a mountain stopped being a mountain in your life?

A: Friendships seem like a common place in my life where this has happened. People come and go in and out of your life and relationships change. This is totally natural but I have learned that it is wise to hold the space of a good friendship open for return, even if it is a long time coming (or never happens at all). And things may look radically different when a moment like this happens but this is a simple, gracious act that we can, and should, all do for one another.
