YEAR OF ZEN: WINTER: DAY 47

Cas A (NIRCam image)

Q: Men in power have done terrible things and broken community. What can be done and what are you called to do?

A: It is my part to bear witness, educate myself, be an ally and advocate, recognize my privilege, and use said privilege to try and bring things into more equitable alignment when opportunities to do so are present. It is also my duty to call out things when they run counter to this and to be a good role model and parent to my kids so that they have good behaviors to model and to expect for others. We are in a moment where I feel like tides are turning and I need to play my part in helping build the inertia that will bring forward a brighter and more equitable future.
