Powerwolf Shakshouka
This is an incredibly hearty vegan brunch recipe from Mark Dredge’s Beer and Veg. The recipe has an option of adding Harrisa paste but since I was out of that I substituted with a tablespoon of Schwarma seasoning instead. I also went with the option of adding baked tofu instead of egg/egg substitute (thank you for the easy recipe on that Dances with Knives!) . Topped the dish off with Follow Your Heart feta and sprigs of cilantro. And for the beer component, I went with the Powerwolf Schwarzbier from Lost Cabin Brewing in Rapid City, South Dakota. This whole things ends up being a flavor BOMB, and next time I make it I will definitely add the easy beer bread recipe from Beer and Veg as an accompaniment.
