Q: What is something that someone has written that seemed aimed at your heart?

A: I can’t recall a singular thing, but rather countless small words or actions from loved ones that aimed at my heart and helped solidify the bonds of family and friendship. Holding up a mirror to this question is a good reminder of the power of my own words and actions on the lives of others. I try, always, to be a kind person and I hope that has landed in the lives of my loved ones. I guess that is a second-hand compliment about me that hit my heart: Sarah once described by defining characteristic as “kindness” to her friends.
