Q: Who has opened doors for you in life?

A: Too many people to count. I think to the core group of friends who continue to sustain me and open doors for me in all sorts of ways. I also think of members of my family who not only open doors but hold them open for me, even when I am slow to go through them. And professionally, I think on a whole cast of mentors and people who have looked out for me over the years. I see it as mandatory to pay back their kindness by opening doors for others whenever I have an opportunity to do so.
