YEAR OF ZEN: AUTUMN: DAY 70

Q: You can’t grow if you are convinced there is nothing to receive. How do you prepare yourself for this?

A: I try to remain open to knowledge and understanding by reading and engaging in activities that stir my curiosity and serve as reminders for how little I truly know. I find that living in this space fundamentally creates an unlimited ceiling for growth and learning. Sometimes it is easier to do this than other times, but I do think that it becomes a mindset and way of being. I also think that having a wide breadth of interests to move between keeps those interests endlessly exciting.
