Q: Can you identify times when words fail to express what is true in life?
A: I think another way to express this is what life is like (and words fail to capture) when we bump up against the sublime. These are wordless moments when the architecture of human perception and language simply falls away and we are left facing experiences that are so completely beyond us that there is nothing we can do but stand in humility and awe. Moments like these don’t come along often (we couldn’t function if they did) but they do happen in ways big and small, silent and profound.
