YEAR OF ZEN: SPRING: DAY 53

Q: What is a small thing you might do to make the world better, clearer, and kinder?

A: There are many small statements have had the power to reshape the world. An obvious one is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. uttering, I have a dream…” on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. I think that throughout history small words often carry the weight of so much accumulated action and drama that preceded them. The words are a vessel and tipping point…a moment of clarity and transformation…a new trajectory. With this in mind there are countless small actions and acts of kindness that I can perform at any time that are in alignment with the world I want to see. Making them my default way of being is the ongoing work.
