YEAR OF ZEN: SPRING: DAY 54

Q: What is the still point of the turning world?

A: This question leads me toward the connected individual in mindful repose being a still point in the turning world. It is a mountain catching light from a sunrise or sunset that is held for a still, golden moment. It is a moment of silence, an unexpected pause, or a random act of kindness. It is the peace that flows from compassion. All of these, and so much more, are moments of stillness where life and growth happen. They are both of and apart from the ongoing moments of a planet spinning in motion.
