YEAR OF ZEN: SPRING: DAY 69
Q: How is you work a mutual caregiving versus a solitary striving?
A: I began having an insight similar to this when I became a manager and administrator. It wasn’t a sudden revelation but one that has come (and still arrives) through lived experience. The insight is basically that my organization is only as good and productive as its people and that people generally perform best when they feel safe and supported. It is the same with family and children. In my role, I take it as a sacred obligation to build up and support my people, both personally and professionally.
