YEAR OF ZEN: SPRING: DAY 84

Q: Express the moment with utter sincerity. Do it matter what you do when you are alone?

A: Yes, I believe that what I do when I am alone, and in solitude matters. It is one dimension of who I am and if it is out alignment with who I am when I am not in those spaces it leads to suffering. I have always valued and savored solitude and the chance to spend time with myself. In a world that never stops talking, and very rarely listens, I feel like it is critical to carve out this space for ourselves.
