YEAR OF ZEN: SUMMER: DAY 03
La Madeleine, or La Douleur - Paul Cézanne
Q: Sometimes we just screw up. Reflect on a time you have screwed up and then let it go.
A: I have absolutely had moments where I have screwed up in life and I am grateful for the grace of others (and myself) that has allowed me to move past those moments. With space and time they become object lessons for how to be better. There is tremendous power in owning your mistakes and using them as guides and opportunities for growth. Doing this is also a good example for others as often it seems like the worst messes in life started out as screwups that weren’t addressed when they were still manageable.
