Q: Make a vow to practice meditation throughout the day. Keep beginning. Put this into words.
A: I vow to keep my awareness present and returning to the beginning. I vow to make this practice a normal part of my day and my life. I vow to keep taking the time cultivating my awareness so that the return doesn’t feel like a ship coming into port after a long time at sea. I vow to reflect on beginnings and how they mark returns and the seasons of life. I vow to continue practicing, even when I fail, because the benefits are obvious and overwhelming.
