YEAR OF ZEN: SPRING: DAY 81
Q: Injustice can create rage and resentment, both of which are disabling and dangerous. We need to find ways that address pain and call to action in response to injustice. What work do you do on this?
A: Sadly this feels timely as we continue to exist in a profound moment of injustice that is being underwritten by politics of cruelty and naked power-grabbing. It is very easy to get profoundly angry and overcome with the state of things. I find that good practice is to make active efforts to remind myself of the too often overlooked goodness and moments of justice that keep the collective fabric from completely disintegrating and collapsing. They are there and they are the strongest foundations we can build (or rebuild) on.
