YEAR OF ZEN: SUMMER: DAY 30
Q: Has a flower ever changed your mind or stopped you in your tracks?
A: Yes, I have had the unfolding of a flower stop me in my tracks. I have had a flower give me pause and take stock of the world around me, and my place within it. The last vestiges of wildflower season are hanging around the Wasatch Mountains right now and it is one of those annual events that makes my heart sing and want to burst. I feel the same way about trees that have rooted themselves and are growing into the world around them. We have multiple trees in our yard that are in the process of becoming and it makes me unbelievably happy!
