Q: Some of our teachers haven’t been born. Generations to come are speaking to us. What do you hear them saying?

A: A beautiful and poignant prompt. It rings true in my experience, particularly with my kids. They have been two of the greatest teachers I have had in my life and I am constantly learning from them. I hear the teachers of tomorrow asking, “why?” Why do cruelty and injustice continue to have such an outsized presence in life? Why have we taken our beautiful home and tried to set it on fire? How do we work together to begin fixing all of this?
