Q: Write down as many countries as you can think of in 60 seconds. Do any feel more “other” to you than the rest?

Canada, Japan, China, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Greece, Russia, Europe, India, New Zealand, Ukraine, Australia, Turkey, Italy, Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland

Upon reflection, I don’t really feel an “otherness” about the countries I listed, though there are some that I definitely lack a lot of background knowledge on. What is more telling is what I left out. No countries from Africa, the Middle East, or Central America. That shows and “otherness” disconnect in my brain and a gap in my knowledge that I need to work to fix.
