Gilgal Sculpture Garden

A three-acre sculpture garden located at 749 East and 500 South in Salt Lake City. Originally designed by Thomas Battersby Child, Jr. who started construction in 1945, the park contains 12 original sculptures and over 7 stones that are engraved with scriptures, poems, and literary texts. The site was designated as a Salt Lake City park in 2000 after decades of local efforts to preserve and protect it from redevelopment.
