Dude Benchmark Peak

Welcomed in 2021 with an early morning summit of Dude Benchmark Peak (7212 feet) in Bountiful. I haven’t spent much (if any) time hiking the mountains north of Grandeur Peak, but with their generally lower elevations they seem like a perfect place to explore this winter! The hike up to Dude’s wasn’t long (approximately 2.2 miles) but there were a few spots with good elevation gain. The highlight was definitely the cloud show that we were treated to throughout. Here are some pictures of the valley covered in a blanket of clouds that eventually encroached on us during the hike down.
