Q: Is all sound music? Does it depend on attention?

A: Yes, I think that there is music in everything and all it takes is attention and awareness to perceive it. This year I have continued working on my piano practice and it is a (mostly) regular part of my daily routine. It has opened my mind in terms of gaining a better understanding and awareness of how the magic of music is written and communicated. And in no way has this awareness diminished my love and appreciation. In fact, it has only deepened it! In the wise words of Andrew W.K.: “Music is worth living for!!!”
