YEAR OF ZEN: AUTUMN: DAY 74

Taking the Bride to the Bath House - Shalom Koboshvili

Q: Before you end your work day clean up your space. How is this for you?

A: This is a practice I have had my entire career. It is part of a routine and set pattern of behaviors (like making the bed, doing dishes before they pile up, and cleaning the house on the weekend) that give me a small and meaningful measure of balance and control over my life. These practices give an order to things that allow me to reset when needed and fell like I am moving in the right direction on any given day.
