Q: What can get in the way of honest practice?

A: I felt this the last time I attended the Salt Lake City Pride Festival and visited the DJ dance area. Everyone had a fun time dancing but my own inhibitions kept me from really joining in, even though I know how joyous dancing can be. It is one of the best things I do with my kids at home. I was bringing my own baggage to the moment. Literally nobody there cared if I danced or not. This is one example, but it doesn’t take long to see other instances in my life where similar tendencies manifest.
