Q: How can you talk with your coworkers without using words?

A: Good reminder that so much of communication is nonverbal. Also, in my role I need to monitor my nonverbal communication because I am trying to set a tone of leadership. This means not rolling my eyes or being demonstrably animated if I am hearing something I don’t agree with. It means watching those around me and using opportunities where I witness behaviors like this in others as teaching moments. Luckily, I was born with a pretty solid “serious Greek Face.”
