YEAR OF ZEN: SUMMER: DAY 86
Q: How can you “step on the log” at your workplace, so you don’t accidently rile a sleeping snake?
A: I feel like lately I have been stepping on a lot of logs at work to avoid sleeping snakes. We are in a moment of growth and transition with a lot of competing forces and energies at work. Some folks embrace this, while others resist. This is natural but it does require a fair amount of thought and consideration when attempting to lead change. We have good people, so the “snakes” are more abstract and philosophical. I consider this a blessing.
